COVID-19 UPDATE: Our practice is open with Curbside Care

To our Valued Customers,

The health and well-being of your pet is our top priority. As news of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community continues to develop, we are monitoring the situation closely.

At this time, our clinic remains open and is operating under regular business hours with curbside care only. To limit human interaction, medication and food pickup will be curbside as well.

While the CDC and other health authorities have indicated that dogs, cats, and other domestic animals are not considered at risk for contracting COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions to ensure the health and safety of humans within our facilities—notably our clients and staff. Keeping our practice “hospital-clean” has always been a priority for us, and we continue to do so.  Additionally, for the safety of our team and your family we are monitoring CDC recommendations and will continue to increase our attention to cleaning frequency and methods accordingly. We are working closely with our staff to ensure that anyone who is not feeling well understands that we support them in staying home. To our customers:

  • If you are feeling ill or experiencing flu-like symptoms and have an upcoming wellness (not critical) appointment, we kindly ask that you call us to reschedule.
  • If you are healthy with no signs of illness, please bring your animal to our hospital and practice social distancing including no physical touching, appropriate hand washing and keeping 6-10 feet of distance from others in our parking lot. When you arrive at the clinic, please call 646-7200 and remain in your vehicle with your animal. Our staff will come out and retrieve your pet. Phone and text conversations will be utilized for sick patients and a Drop Off Form is now available on this website to send to us in advance of your appointment. Pet Food and Medication Pickups will also be available on our covered deck outside the lobby.
  • We have staff members on call for pet pickup and medication /food home drop-off if you do not want to come in to our clinic. Please contact us to schedule. Some clients are experiencing difficulty with online platforms like Chewy – please know that we stock most Flea/Tick and Heartworm preventatives and will MATCH ALL ONLINE PHARMACY PRICES! We can ship, deliver or have you pick up!
  • Our Online Pharmacy is also available on our clinic website – although they as well are experiencing longer fulfillment times. www.postroadvet.com. Here you can order prescription medications, pet food and preventatives as long as we have a current wellness exam on your animal. Also on our website is Pet Health Checker to triage your pet and evaluate if a health concern is indeed critical.
