Meet the Veterinarians in Wells, ME
At Post Road Veterinary Clinic, we take pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients and their guardians in Wells and surrounding areas. Our team strives to provide a comfortable environment for our patients and clients, and we want everyone, either two-legged or four, to feel welcome as soon as they enter our veterinary clinic. This all starts with a warm hello and coffee for you and a yummy treat for your pet. Our hospital opened its doors in 2001 and offers a wide range of medical services and surgeries for dogs and cats in the southern York County area. We’re located at 746 Post Road – at the corner of Route 1 and the 9B. It may be easier to access the clinic in the summer via the 9B (Littlefield Road). At the office, our patients are primarily cats and dogs. We would also be happy to schedule house calls as necessary for your convenience.

Our Team
Dr. Erin Dahill
Doctor
Dr. Dahill graduated from the University of Illinois and began her career in equine medicine. She transitioned to mixed animal practice in 2006 when she joined Post Road Veterinary Clinic for the first time. In 2011, she accepted an opportunity to join the faculty at the School of Veterinary Medicine, St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. In 2014, she and her husband decided to leave the island life and move back to her home state of RI. There she worked at a primary care facility in downtown Providence. Dr. Dahill rejoined our team here in January of 2022 and has loved seeing all of our clients and their pets again! Her primary areas of interest are preventative care, internal medicine, and client education. When not in the clinic, she can be found hiking, camping, running, or relaxing at the beach or in a hammock.
Dr. Meghan Bealka
Doctor
Dr. Bealka graduated in 2022 from Atlantic Veterinary College, located in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Originally from Massachusetts, she is so happy to have been welcomed into such a wonderful practice. In her spare time, you can find her capturing photos, exploring new hiking trails, watching sunsets down by the water, and kayaking. Dr Bealka lives in Kennebunk with her rescue Beagle, Abu, and two cats, Steven and Theo. She believes animals are a part of the family and is super excited to meet all of our clients and their pets.
Dr. Chelsea Benway
Doctor
Dr. Benway graduated in 2016 from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, which is located in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is originally from Maine and was ecstatic to return home to pursue her lifelong dream of practicing veterinary medicine. When Dr. Benway is not in the clinic or with her furry family, Eloise and Beau (the cutest kitten and a national show horse), she enjoys baking delicious desserts and filling her passport with new destinations.
